CultureLounge & refusalon present:
high light
Oakland Hills, CA April 2002
‘high light’, the most recent joint venture produced by CultureLounge & refusalon, is a unique exhibit in which contemporary, modern art has been precariously installed within the Goldstrom Fine Art Collection. The exhibition’s title reflects the art collective’s notion to shed new light on a previously reputable collection, by ‘highlighting’ both existing and new works of art. This truly amazing exhibit is located within the Guy Chick house, a renowned work of architecture located in Oakland, Califonia and designed by Bernard Maybeck.
CultureLounge and refusalon are producing the event as a fundraiser, supporting future plans to become ONE non- profit art organization. The exhibit is open through mid- June by appointment only, for private tours, collectors, curators and members of the press. All artwork is for sale and can also be viewed on the CultureLounge website. Profits from sales directly support the efforts of the above-mentioned, non- profit organization.
